Carrs Pasties Sponsor Special Octagon Theatre Fundraiser with Peter Kay

Carrs Pasties Sponsor Special Octagon Theatre Fundraiser with Peter Kay

We were honoured to be asked to sponsor a special Christmas fundraising event for Octagon Theatre which saw Peter Kay return to a stage in Bolton for the first time in 20 years!

The event took place to raise funds for the theatre which is a registered charity and relies on fundraising and public donations to be able to put on shows and community activities on and off the stage in. The event raised £80,000 which is incredible.

Peter Kay performed three shows in one day on Sunday 10 December, the performances included content from his current tour and some original content written for the special occasion. Tickets were limited with first priority given to Octagon Members and Patrons before being released exclusively to those signed up to the Octagon’s mailing list (worth signing up f you haven't already!). The three shows all sold out within minutes.

As part of our sponsorship we donated pasties which included our traditional Meat & Potato Pasties, our More Cheese, Ham & Chilli Jam Pasties which are inspired by Wallace & Gromit and the newest addition to the range, the Rock It Pasties which supports Rock It Bolton – a local music charity for young people.  We are fortunate enough to support a number of charities in Bolton and we are so proud to be a Bolton business.
